You had me at hello

Together with Finnish artist Kustaa Saksi we were asked to create a backdrop for the Hello Talk show at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. Soon an idea about a meeting room without walls was born and the result was a 180 square meter large room covered by a dome shaped by 10’000 A3 papers, fastened at 44’000 precisely defined points. The bottom sheets carried Kustaa’s image. The plan was that of a church hall. There were high tables with black mirror tops that rested on an additional 70’000 sheet of paper. A selection of black bar stools facing the discussion completed the room. So simple.
